Environment Matrix: click on the version labels to open the Environment Details dialog.
Environment Browser: click on the Environment you want to edit from the left menu.
Environment List: in order to open the Environment Details dialog, click on the Environment Name, double-click on an Environment line, or use the “Edit Environment” option in the Actions menu.
Last Deployments & Last Status Changes: click on the Environment Name on each Swimlane to open the Environment Details dialog.
Once you are in the Environment Details, move the cursor on the field you want to edit and click it:
When you insert URLs or e-mail addresses into environment fields, they will be automatically detected, truncated and formatted as HTML links.
Line breaks are also automatically detected and converted to be displayed properly.
Environment attribute values can be deleted using the icons on the right of their label.
You can add new environment attribute values using the "Add Attribute" button at the bottom.
If you need to define new Attributes, refer to the Environment Attributes section.
Update Environment Permission Scheme
In order change the permission scheme of an environment, click on the locker icon on the top right:
If you cannot edit the permission scheme, it means that you are not allowed to do it or that there is only one permission scheme available.

Delete an Environment
You can delete Environments from the Environment Details dialog.
Move the cursor on the Environment Name in order to show the “Delete” link.
Environments can also be deleted from the Environment List view, using the Actions menu.
Create Environment Attributes
Access the Attributes page from the Settings menu:
You need to have Manage Attributes global permission in order to perform operations on attributes.

Click on the Add Attribute button to create a new attribute:
Create as many attributes as you need to document the configuration of your Environments. Think about what information is useful for your Jira users. If you have many attributes, use the "Filter displayed attributes..." search box to find them quickly.
With the "Secured" option, your attribute is restricted:
Only users with the View Secured Attributes or Edit Secured Attributes permissions will be able to use them.

Secured attributes are useful in order to store URLs to access to admin console, e-mail address of the Environment owner, information about dataset and environment setup, etc.
